J.D. Beam, Inc.

J. D. Beam, Inc. was founded in 1979 with the goal of creating a company that provided the highest level of service to its customers.  Initially the company constructed interior fit up projects and smaller publicly bid projects along with private retail construction projects. Today the current management team, lead by Owner & President Glenn Kistler, runs the company with the same fundamental objective, providing outstanding service.  We still build interior fit up projects but J. D. Beam, Inc. now also builds much larger projects, including mid rise office buildings, hotels and entire industrial parks.  The majority of our work involves elements of design build services usually for Developers needing projects built quickly, under budget constraints that are established long before the plans are completed.  J. D. Beam, Inc. provides preconstruction services to help its clients establish its overall budgets and project objectives and then manages the design and the construction work to insure strict adherence with those goals in order to insure that the project results in the expected value created for its clients.

J. D. Beam, Inc. remains a locally owned and managed commercial General Contractor that holds Unlimited General Contracting licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
