Scope Of Work
The Stadium Parking Garage is the third garage in a comprehensive campus parking plan approved by the University’s Board of Regents and serves as an anchor for the Stadium Precinct of campus. The four-level pre-cast concrete parking structure has a capacity for 2,300 cars, motorcycles, and golf carts, and contains the university's parking offices and parking service center. This new parking garage compliments the expansion of the City of Houston’s light rail transit and provides additional spaces for commuting students, UH athletic events and game day visitors of the City of Houston’s Major League Soccer team, the Houston Dynamo.
The project also defines a mixed-use corridor, providing a new major entrance to the core of the university campus. The 13,000-sq.-ft. space features a Barnes and Noble fan shop, convenience store, campus dining, parking offices, and other light retail. The corridor enhances the game day experience and provides everyday services to the under-served west portion of campus.
