Scope Of Work
Boldt teamed with Penrose-St. Francis Health Services and The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region to bring the Tri-Lakes Health Pavilion to Monument, Colorado. This facility is a 50,000-sq.-ft. project connected to the current YMCA. This integrated facility was born out of the desire for Penrose-St. Francis to have a partner in the northern part of town. Boldt opened up communication with the YMCA and brought both organizations to the table. Through the integrated facility, providers have the ability to better manage the population’s health and well-being. The building opened in January of 2015.
“Our long term vision is to toss out the old convention of only going to the doctor when you're sick and dealing with the sometimes massive and expensive bureaucracy that comes with hospitals and medical hand-offs,” said Margaret Sabin, president and CEO of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services. “It may sound counterintuitive, but as a true healthcare system our goal is to keep people healthy and out of hospitals, utilizing them most appropriately for those life events that require the scale and proportions a hospital can provide—and we are supporting that goal by investing in programs and services… to keep people healthy."
