Scope Of Work
Complex curtainwall façade with a soaring three-story atrium.
Extensive below grade work for utility relocation.
30,000 sf of subterranean space beneath the interior courtyard.
“Geo-Jet” earth retention system and drill shafts used to form the foundation retaining wall in order to minimize noise and vibration.
Multi-level pedestrian connectors and tunnels connect the new facility to the existing science complex.
Interior work included laboratories, faculty offices, conference rooms and lecture halls.
Adjacent to the Peabody Museum and the Harvard Museum of Natural History, which houses a priceless, fragile collection of 3,000 glass models of plants.
