Claudia Folzman brings over two decades of construction experience and is responsible for day-to-day operations of the business. Claudia oversees the management of business development and supervises the project management and project engineering staff. Working on nearly all aspects of construction management has provided Claudia with a unique breadth of experience. She attended San Diego State University, graduated with a degree in civil engineering and has worked some of the industry’s largest construction companies such as Turner and DPR. Claudia has held positions as Field Engineer, Cost Engineer, Purchasing Agent, Assistant Superintendent, and Project Engineer.
Iron Construction was founded in 2001 with a vision to create a non-traditional commer¬cial general contracting company where executive management was actively involved with projects, and more importantly, clients. Iron has excelled at projects that challenge most commercial contractors, specifically working in spaces that are occupied, projects that require value engineering to be successful regarding quality, constructability and cost and projects with aggressive schedules.
Claudia has been featured as an industry expert by local and regional media including The Registry and Silicon Valley Business Journal. She was voted CREW Silicon Valley’s Chapter MVP for the 2016 “ELEVATE” Campaign, honoring diversity and women’s Leadership in commercial real estate, she is the recipient of Bisnow’ s 2016 Power Women Award, recognizing accomplished, inspirational women leaders in Silicon Valley commercial real estate, the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber’s Business Woman of the Year Award, she received the 2012 Woman of Influence Award by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, is the 2012 Past President of IFMA Silicon Valley (International Facilities Management Association), the 2013 Past President of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) Silicon Valley and currently sits on the Heritage Bank of Commerce Advisory Board.
Claudia is heavily involved in local philanthropic work and organizes/supports various charity and events such as Iron Construction’s Annual Charity Golf Classic, benefitting Operation Care and Comfort (a charity that sends care packages to American troops overseas and in conflict areas), the Annual Silicon Valley Commercial Real Estate Community Clean-Up Day (benefitting the Friends of Los Gatos Creek), the Annual Iron Construction Thanksgiving Food Drive & Cocktail Party (benefitting Loaves and Fishes Family Kitchen, a local Catholic Charity that feeds the hungry and homeless 365 days a year).
She participated in the “Rebuilding Together” of the 49er Academy, is an active Rotarian (San Jose Chapter) and was heavily involved in Rotary projects such as the renovation to the Boys & Girls Club center and the construction of the Rotary Play Garden. In her free time, she enjoys investing, cheering on the San Jose Sharks, collecting fine wines and playing bocce ball.

A lifelong passion for building. This is what defines Iron Construction co-founder and President Dave Edgar’s construction philosophy. With over three decades of experience working in all aspects of construction, from carpenter to superintendent, Dave’s unprecedented knowledge in construction, sustainability and project management made starting his own company an obvious choice. His goal was to start a company that focused on building, not bureaucracy. Being a co-founder and project executive allows him to take personal ownership in all projects and ensure the client’s needs are met to their satisfaction.
Dave has worked on many high profile projects including Pelican Bay State Prison in California and the Beverly Hills Library and Police Station, but his work in the bio-life science and controlled spaces domain is where his expertise really shines. Dave has managed many projects for medical research and assembly facilities for clients such as Genentech, Ariosa Diagnostics, Zoll Medical and Becton Dickinson (to name a few). With a degree in biology, Dave is set apart from his peers and is one of the foremost bio-life science and medical facilities experts in the state.
Dave has been featured as an industry thought leader by local and regional media including the Silicon Valley Business Journal and Empire Broadcasting. Dave is a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers and enjoys fishing and golf in his spare time.

As a Project Executive, Chris brings a resourceful and innovative level of experience to Iron Construction. With considerable knowledge of the construction industry, he is involved in the entire construction process from project inception to completion. Working with his dedicated team, he is able to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget while completing scope objectives.
Chris excels at identifying potential project risks and is able to offer beneficial value engineering alternatives to clients. Jim Lampkin joined Iron Construction in 2017 as director of sales and an integral member of the company’s leadership team.
Prior to joining the Iron team, Mr. Lampkin enjoyed management roles with Alliance Roofing and Paragon Mechanical, Inc. He is a respected AEC/CRE thought leader throughout Silicon Valley and specializes in corporate growth structure, construction management, teambuilding, and business development. Additionally, Mr. Lampkin is highly involved in the wider community, serving on committees and with organizations including the Rotary Club of San Jose and CREW Silicon Valley.
Mr. Lampkin oversees corporate growth and sales and works closely with the Iron marketing and business development teams. A resident of Los Gatos, Mr. Lampkin is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his wife in California’s St. Helena wine region.

Stephanie Kirk is an accomplished BD professional. Since 2011, she has overseen strategy and messaging as marketing and business development director at Iron Construction. Ms. Kirk works closely with executive officers to develop communications including advertising, events and other marketing. She directs business development for Iron Construction’s Silicon Valley and South San Francisco offices, and manages the company’s PR agency as well as many industry association memberships. Prior to Iron, she enjoyed roles with Marvell Semiconductor and Atmel.

With 30+ years of commercial construction experience, Brian started his career as a carpenter rapidly working his way up through the ranks to General Superintendent. His vast construction experience includes ground-up, hospitality, medical, life science, manufacturing, clean rooms, Class A office interiors, and retail projects.
Brian manages and coordinates all of Iron Construction’s field crews and superintendents. He focuses on training, safety and sharing his many years of knowledge and experience to provide top quality construction for our clients and industry partners. He actively participates in pre-construction identifying constructability issues, producing schedules, formulating site logistics and is a liaison with regulatory agencies such as the Building and Fire Departments.
With a ‘can do’ attitude Brian goes the extra mile to provide help to field personnel, office staff, and clients at all times. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, is an avid fisherman and likes to golf.

Heidi Fraasch's Bio

Heidi Fraasch joined Iron Construction in 2012 as the HR Coordinator in the Human Resources department. She is now the Human Resources Manager and a member of the company’s executive and leadership teams.
Prior to joining the Iron team, she was the Director of Operations for Plate Temkin/CMC and served on the senior leadership team as well. She led divisional operations with several teams for over 225 business service centers in five states. Heidi’s experience guiding employees, teams, and operations have given her the tools to develop Iron’s workforce by recruiting some of the Bay Area’s most experienced project teams in construction. She also is committed to providing a safe and productive environment for all employees while assisting in their career growth and goals.
Heidi also heads the committee for Iron Construction’s Annual Charity Golf Classic benefiting Operation: Care and Comfort and AUSA.
She enjoys traveling, time with her family and watching and attending various professional sporting events.
