Scope Of Work

Rhode Island Hospital had four MRIs on the main campus. The fifth was the added to a 100 year-old building which already houses two MRIs. The building is surrounded by several layers of other buildings, making the location pretty tough to get to. After demolishing the interior existing office spaces, the old concrete floor was removed to make room for a thickened concrete slab which would support the magnetic shielding and new MRI equipment, and everything needed to be delivered through a new 10’ roof hatch. After the MRI and shielding were installed, the space was finished in record time.
