Scope Of Work

When the bridge building at Rhode Island Hospital was constructed it had the capacity for several future operating rooms. Designed for cardiac procedures, with the capability for open heart surgeries like transplants, these two rooms were added in the final remaining spaces available. The rooms needed to be built while the other twenty-two operating rooms were functioning around the construction site, making logistics much more difficult.  The new rooms feature a medical gas boom, two light booms, a monitor boom and a profusion boom, all provided by Steris. The finishes are all stainless steel, epoxy paint and sheet vinyl flooring.
