Scope Of Work
Kiewit was awarded two contracts to build new 463,000 SF, nine gate aircraft terminal (Concourse C) Arrivals Hall at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.
Under Phase I contract, crews a structural steel frame foundation for terminal. For its on Phase I, Kiewit received 2002 Associated Alaska “Excellence Partnering” .
Phase II involved limited demolition, concrete slab-on-grade, metal decks, structural miscellaneous steel, masonry, 292,000 SF exterior metal wall panels, fireproofing of 5,800 tons of structural steel framework. contract also included new mechanical systems, electrical equipment systems, a state---art baggage handling system.
