Scope Of Work

Stifel in St Louis purchased an older building for their St Louis Headquarters and tenant space. The building has under gone major renovations over the past few years. It contains a second floor five story atrium space that had been under-used due to the fact that it was dated, uncomfortable, and overly noisy. Ambius was asked to work with their architect to create a "park like" atmosphere that their employees and tenants would want to use. Zones for dining, conversation, and impromptu meetings were created using linear plantings. The plants were used to provide intimacy and to soften areas. They went a long way in improving the sound issues created by the water feature as well. We embraced the lime green that was dominate in the building's design, and it served as a great pop of color from the floors above. Color, texture, and placement brought layering and depth to the design. Since the project has been completed we've been told by the client that the space is always in use. Tenants and employees are using the space as it was intended, and report that the space has improved their work life.
