This new district library aims to create opportunities toward educational advancement and skill development for the surrounding community. Constructed on donated land from the Schaefer family in honor of John M. Schaefer, the $4.2 million dollar project has resulted in a 14,600 square ft. building on 5.7 acres bearing the family name. The building’s interior features a digital meeting room, flex space, private study rooms, a children’s center, a teen center, 16 adult computer stations, and a public art component by a renowned local artist for a finishing touch, while the exterior proudly displays a Kingdom for Kid’s playground.
