Angelo Colasanti's Bio
Angelo joined the company when it was established by his father, Rocco, in 1953. In the ensuing years, he has been the guiding force in the company’s evolution from a small concrete contractor to the diverse industry leader it is today.
Throughout his career, Angelo has served on several committees of the American Concrete Institute and other industry groups, as well as several boards of charitable organizations.
Carey Colasanti's Bio
Carey maintains daily involvement with all corporate activities for the management, accountability and success to the overall operations of the firm. These interactive functions are accomplished through regular management meetings with key personnel, wherein business strategy for current activities and future growth are addressed and the ensuing work plan is developed.
Carey is involved with a number of professional and charitable organizations. He also supports many community, educational and athletic activities that involve his two children.
Don Kosnik's Bio
Don Kosnik joined the Colasanti Group in 1986. Don has responsibility for all fiscal aspects of the company and its subsidiaries and affiliates. He oversees financial plans, accounting practices, cash management, accounting, budgeting, and tax and audit activities. Don is also responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data, managing and directing relationships with business and financial vendors, and developing and implementing changes to improve systems and financial performance.
Don, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), received a BS in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University in 1979 and A Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College in 1983.
Keith Colasanti's Bio
Keith Colasanti began his career in construction in 1983 as a carpenter apprentice. He then progressed through an array of positions including; Journeyman Carpenter, Project Engineer, Project Superintendent and Yard Manager. Keith prepares cost proposals for concrete foundations and structures in both the private and public sectors. On an annual basis, Keith’s bidding volume is approximately $100 million per year. Keith maintains involvement with all corporate activities for the management of each business segment, and its accountability and success to the overall operations of the firm.
Keith attended Albion College in Albion, Michigan and majored in General Studies.
Patrick Wysocki's Bio
Patrick Wysocki joined Colasanti in 2008. As President of CCSI, Pat coordinates and supervises company estimating and provides technical and administrative direction. This includes assisting corporate and project management to determine what types of projects to bid; review of final estimate packages; providing assistance in negotiating contracts and change orders; and administering direction to ensure the Estimating Department’s corporate objectives are met.
He attended the University of Detroit, Detroit, Michigan and obtained a bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1985.
Operations
John Clappison's Bio
John oversees the company’s legal interests and implements risk management and loss prevention programs, which involves negotiating contract terms with customers, vendors and business partners, management of the corporate legal structure, succession planning, advising on company-wide insurance programs, and acting as the liaison between executive management and outside legal counsel.
John received a B.S. in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in Construction Management, from the University of Michigan in 1987. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School in 1993. Prior to law school, he worked as an engineer for an ENR Top 40 general contractor on a variety of engineering and heavy/highway construction projects.
Scott Meredith's Bio
Scott Meredith joined Colasanti in 2005. Scott’s responsibilities as Vice President include continuous interface and coordination with project architects and subcontractors, overall project administration, and coordination and communication with the owner for issues involving cost and progress. As part of the Colasanti Team, Scott is also responsible for overseeing the site Superintendent in order to carry out project requirements and act as liaison with other departments such as engineering, estimating, labor relations, and safety. This process ensures that the work is completed to the owner’s current specifications and is built adhering to all company regulations.
Scott attended Western Michigan University, in Kalamazoo, MI and obtained a BS in Marketing in 1994 as well as Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI and obtained an MS – Construction Management.
Stephen Deller's Bio
As Vice President of Operations for Concrete Construction, Stephen is responsible for overseeing the field teams, including excavation, formwork fabrication/ installation, rebar procurement/ placement and concrete placement while overseeing the project schedule for all projects that he is assigned. Additionally he ensures that all deliveries are scheduled by his team to ensure that each project has the appropriate materials needed onsite.
Stephen has excellent communication skills and is a true team player. He is a valued asset to our team and has over 20 years of concrete construction experience.
He works closely with our project managers and senior staff to ensure that the work is completed to the plans and specifications and exceeds expectations while providing excellent customer service and adhering to Colasanti’s quality standards.
Business Development, Marketing & Sales
Scott Kowalkowski's Bio
Scott Kowalkowski joined Colasanti 2003. His primary function is to provide overall direction of the day-to-day business development, marketing and sales efforts for the entire company. Scott serves as a member of the corporate management team, providing direction and advice to identify and prioritize potential markets and customers. In addition, he directs the preparation and implementation of business development action plans for targeted markets.
Scott attended the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN on a 4 year athletic scholarship on the football team. He obtained a BA in American Studies in 1991. From there he went on to play in the NFL for the Detroit Lions Football organization, where he excelled. He was named Team Captain for seven consecutive seasons.
