Focusing on improving efficiency, setting and operating within predefined budgets, resource planning, maximizing revenue through process improvement, driving accountability, timeline adherence, and overall successful delivery of construction projects.
• Develop construction management techniques and innovations that improve the Company's processes and overall capabilities.
• Develop strong internal and external relationships with key constituents and work to ensure projects are properly scoped and executed according to plan.
• Ensure consistent and continuous compliance by all employees and vendors with applicable safety and regulatory requirements, construction standards, and protocols.
• Lead, manage, communicate with and develop a team.
• Manage employees and vendors to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the level of quality expected and requested.
• Manage, from a profit and loss perspective, all construction activities, including budget, actual spend, and change order controls.
• Proactively identify potential risk issues and collaborate to develop a preventative action plan.
• Provide effective problem resolutions to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships between the client/customer and field team.
• Troubleshoot, negotiate, and mediate client or subcontractor problems or complaints that arise at site level.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create strong collaborative team environment.
• Lead, supervise, and manage performance of Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers.
• Proactively identify and resolve personnel issues.
• Provide mentored performance management for team. Define and communicate annual goals, perform formal and informal performance reviews, and ensure changes and updates are communicated in a consistent, timely and professional manner.
• Recruit, develop, and retain staff. This includes onboarding and orientation for new hires.
