Blair I Fassburg's Bio
Blair I. Fassburg is a senior associate in the firm’s Seattle office whose practice primarily focuses on counseling and representing clients in the transportation and solid waste industries, business litigation, administrative law, environmental law, regulatory litigation and corporate matters.
Mr. Fassburg represents regulated industries before a number of administrative agencies and in civil litigation. As a business litigator and aspiring trial lawyer, Mr. Fassburg is experienced in representing industry clients in litigation with respect to a wide array of legal matters, including contract disputes, contractor and materialmen’s liens, civil racketeering, land use, restrictive covenant enforcement, products liability, copyright infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, business disparagement and defamation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death.
Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Mr. Fassburg practiced law for over a decade in Texas, where he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies both in and out of the transportation industry, in tort, commercial, and real estate litigation.
Mr. Fassburg is a 2005 graduate of Texas Tech University School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Fassburg attended Occidental College where he played on the Division III football team, and ultimately received a Bachelor of Science from Texas State University-San Marcos in 2002, graduating magna cum laude.
Blair is married to Julie Fassburg, also a lawyer, whom he met at Texas Tech University School of Law. Blair and Julie have two children, Noah and Cole. He is an avid home brewer and enjoys spending time with his family and spending time outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.

Bryan K Churchill's Bio
Bryan Churchill is of counsel in the Portland office of Williams Kastner. Bryan is a business attorney with over 20 years of diverse experience representing a wide-variety of clients across various industries. He works closely with executive and management teams assisting them in transforming their organization, offering solutions to problems that remove legal barriers and allow the business to excel. Bryan understands how companies make money and clarifies business drivers to build organizational commitment. He is an engaging team member who thrives ambiguity to bring focus, business insight, diverse perspectives and creative solutions.
Hunter M Abell's Bio
Hunter Abell is a member at Williams Kastner whose practice emphasizes civil litigation, administrative law, and Indian law. A native of Washington, Mr. Abell was raised on a ranch on the rural Colville Indian Reservation in Ferry County. Prior to joining Williams Kastner, Mr. Abell served in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps where he obtained extensive trial and litigation experience. His legal experience in the U.S. Navy includes his role as Liaison Officer in the Central Criminal Court of Iraq in Baghdad, Iraq where he worked to assist prosecuting insurgents accused of attacks against Iraqi and Coalition forces.
Mr. Abell graduated from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA and earned his JD from Gonzaga University School of Law. Prior to serving on active duty in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Abell received his LLM from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Abell currently serves as a member of the Gonzaga University School of Law Board of Advisors.
Mr. Abell is a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and his personal military decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and the Joint Service Commendation Medal. Mr. Abell has served as an adjunct faculty member for Brandman University to teach courses on Western Legal Tradition and Social and Political Theory to military and civilian students.
Mr. Abell possesses considerable experience litigating before federal, state, and tribal courts, as well as litigating in state and federal administrative tribunals. Mr. Abell possesses particular experience representing public entities with Public Records Act requests, contractual matters, and advising clients regarding potential land use actions.
Mr. Abell is married to his wife, Sara, and is the proud father of his daughters, Libby and Wynnie. In his spare time, Hunter enjoys hiking, waterskiing, and horseback riding.
