Mr. Rambhajan has extensive experience in the construction and real estate industry. Celebrating over 23 years in business, he is sole owner and president of Industria Construction Services, a corporation providing General Construction and professional Construction Management Services.
Mr. Rambhajan and his firm have consulted on many municipal and private projects. Past and current projects include work for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Department of the Navy, General Service Administration, Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District, Chicago Housing Authority, Chicago Transit Authority, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Department of Veteran Affairs, O’Hare and Midway International Airports. His firm maintains various small business certifications and participates in several small and veteran-owned business programs.
He believes successful construction projects do not simply happen; they are made to happen. His firm drives projects through completion with proper planning, communication, hard work and follow-through. He also believes it is important to partner with clients - working as a team to deliver each project.
He has often been called on to consult on surety and construction claims. A big supporter of Small and Veteran Owned firms, he allocates time as an advisor to mentor and support fellow entrepreneurs. His firm was contracted to provide Project Management training to small contractors on the 7 Billion Dollar City Center for MGM Mirage, Perini Builders in Las Vegas.
Mr. Rambhajan obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, a Certificate in Project Management from DePaul University and is a Graduate of the Kellogg Management Institute, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He has also completed programs in Project Management at the Graham School of Business, University of Chicago; Construction Management at the Management Institute, University of Wisconsin School of Business, and Construction Quality Management with the Army Corps of Engineers.
Enlisting at age 17 to serve his country, Mr. Rambhajan served 8 years in the US Marine Corps Reserves. Rambhajan remains active in a number of professional and civic organizations. He has served as Treasurer on the Board for the Levy Auxiliary Senior Center, a charitable not-for-profit organization. He currently serves as Board President for the Warrior Summit Coalition, Board Member Elite SDVOB Network, and Board Member for the US Small Business Administration - Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Board.
He resides in Park Ridge, Illinois with his wonderful wife Anita and two marvelous children, Raj 16 years old, Alyssa 14 years old and their dog Buddy.
