Scope Of Work
J. Calnan & Associates was selected as the Construction Manager by Atlantic Property Management to work closely with their tenant, Children’s Hospital, in the construction of their new south shore location. The medical facility was to be built in the 105-year old Stetson Medical Building which meant extensive coordination to ensure systems were built according to the design intent. In addition, the building was fully occupied which required substantial planning to make sure that patients and staff were not disrupted by construction activities.
The project included renovations of 25,000 SF of existing space as well as a new 3,000 SF ground-up addition. The facility consists of 20+ patient exam rooms, a Fluoroscopy suite, as well as CT Scan/Imaging and X-Ray rooms.
