Scope Of Work
The Madison’s Trust Elementary School construction project consisted of a new 875-student elementary school with classrooms, media center, multipurpose room, cafeteria space, gymnasium, two outdoor playing fields, elevator, and administrative suite.
Shockey’s work included two-story masonry construction with steel-frame structural systems, interior CMU partitions, single ply membrane roofing, architectural casework, and food service equipment.
The site work for Madison’s Trust included the clearing and grading of approximately 16 acres for improvements. The building earned EPA’s ENERGY STAR® for superior energy performance and met VA-CHPS criteria, a state-specific benchmark system for the design and construction of energy-efficient, high performance school buildings in the Commonwealth.
