Scope Of Work
Slayden teamed up with Sundt Construction in a joint venture to provide Multnomah County the Sellwood Bridge Replacement project. This project involved replacing the 2,000-foot-long, aging Sellwood Bridge over the Willamette River. The existing steel bridge was shifted to the North and placed on temporary pillars for use as a detour. This innovative approach allows the new bridge to be constructed in the existing alignment and repurposing the existing bridge to reduce product schedule costs.
