Scope Of Work
The Virgin Valley High School Gymnasium Expansion project, built for Clark County School District, involved the new construction of a 28,000 square foot athletic facility. The gymnasium addition was constructed with a CMU and steel joist structural frame, CMU and stucco exterior, and a singly ply roof system. The interior of the facility includes wood flooring, athletic equipment, and bleacher seating for 2,200 attendees. In addition to the new building, the project involved various demolitions, the relocation of existing utilities, and a fire lane access road to the south of the school. Due to CORE's dedication to student and staff safety, the project was successfully completed on the active campus with very little impact to school operations.
