Our Story
Landmark Elevator Inc. is a member of the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC). As a member, we are able to network with other firms in the elevator trade, stay current on the latest technology, and provide benefits and training to our employees. Membership to the NAEC is completely voluntary and is not politically based on union/non-union orientation. Other training programs will grant automatic status to individuals if they agree to sign a labor agreement. The Certified Elevator Technician (CET) training program is a nationally recognized program that not only requires new mechanics to be trained and certified, but also requires annual recertification and mandatory continuing education. The program has a very stern oversight that does not allow “honorary certifications” like other programs have been known to do. With modern technology impacting the elevator trade in ways that it never has before, the CET program should be a requirement for all companies offering to perform elevator service work on your property. Visit www.naec.org for more information.
Landmark Elevator, Inc. has a QEI Certified Elevator Inspector on staff ready and able to settle code issues for you with the authority having jurisdiction in your locality. A certified elevator inspector is required to maintain all current codes and applicable regulations and must maintain his or her certification through continuing educational programs on an annual basis. Not only will Landmark provide you with the best elevator service available, we will also serve as your representative with the state inspector. Our inspector is certified through North American Elevator Safety Association International (NAESA). This is the largest most respected QEI firm available and is used by the State of Maryland for certification as well. Please visit www.naesai.org for more information.
