Our Story
Authentic Electric, offering residential, commercial, solar and service calls, began life in 1970s as All-Ways Electric. Jim Grear ran All-Ways in many shapes and sizes for over 40 years. In 2010, Nathan Miller joined forces with Jim and became the face of the shop, garnering good will and great reviews around the Portland metro area for his aptitude and ability.
Jim Grear retired at the beginning of 2015. Since our business has evolved from one-man shop to nine-man man team, we’ve changed our company name, as we move forward with a fresh face.
